This ride also has power windows and locks, a CD player, air conditioning, a roof rack, and plenty of cargo space as well! It’s a great car for running errands in town, getting out into the wilderness for some camping, or just taking the kids to school. It might be used, but it still has plenty of life left in it—and it’ll save you a ton of money compared to new models!
I’ve had a lot of cars that I’ve loved over the years, but my 2008 Jeep Wrangler is my favorite by far. It’s probably the vehicle I’ve had the longest in my life, as it was given to me by my father when I moved to Los Angeles in 2009 and he knew I needed something that could handle the weather and terrain. The Wrangler comes standard with a soft top, and mine has been customized with a sunroof, so it’s incredibly easy to get in and out of.
Better yet, when it’s nice outside—which is almost always where I live—the top can come off, which makes it such a blast to drive. When you combine speed with an open-air experience, you can see why it can be so enjoyable. The Jeep gets great gas mileage for an SUV of its size, but most importantly it remains practical for all kinds of situations. My old roommate once drove it through the snow and said it felt like he was driving on ice skates—and that was on a four-wheel drive!
